Home...

ATLANTIC VIEW is situated in a quiet private road overlooking the magnificent sweep of Porthmeor beach and the internationally renowned Tate Gallery, the Island and the North Cornish coastline.
Ideally placed, just five minutes from town and beach, to take advantage of all the facilities and attractions that St. Ives and the surrounding area has to offer.  We provide free private parking, use of garden and sun patio.  Ideal for those sunny days where you just want to be lazy and read a book or sunbathe on our comfortable sun loungers overlooking the sea, or why not relax with a drink in the evening and watch the sunset on our patio.  It is also an ideal spot to sketch or paint.

Terri and Bill are delighted to welcome you to our home.  We have been established for thirteen years and after a two year experiment of continental breakfast and room only we are pleased to offer you an extensive full cornish breakfast menu again.  We have refurbished all our rooms this year to a very high specification and as well as offering an excellent standard of cleanliness and customer service, we like to give you those extra special touches.

Terri is an artist and her contemporary paintings are displayed throughout the house and are also for sale alongside prints, cards and fused glass.

Driving Directions ...

St. Ives streets in the town and harbour area are very narrow and difficult to negotiate.  However it is not necessary to drive through the town and harbour area to reach us.  Satellite Navigation systems tend to take you this way and with the volume of traffic during the tourist season the town is getting overrun with vehicles.  Therefore we suggest that you set your SatNav until you reach the A3074 to St. Ives and then follow our directions below.

DIRECTIONS TO ATLANTIC VIEW GUEST HOUSE
At the end of the Hayle by pass you will meet a roundabout, first left is the A30 to Penzance, second left is the A3074 to St. Ives.
Proceed on this route via LELANT and CARBIS BAY to ST. IVES.
Entering the town along TRELYON AVENUE you pass the St. Ives Motor Company and Porthminster Hotel on your right hand side.
Proceed down the hill with the sea on your right hand side.
As you enter the town you will pass the Malakoff Bus Station on the right as the road bears to the left, and then to the right by the Roman Catholic Church.
At this point you are at the top of TREGENNA HILL.
Proceed down the hill and take the first left by the National Westminster Bank and the library into GABRIEL STREET.
Continue on this road to the first mini roundabout, turning right into BULLENS LANE by the Old Primary School/Stennack Surgery.
Drive to the top of the hill and turn right at the `T` Junction, opposite BELMONT TERRACE, follow road as it bears sharp left at the Cemetery down PORTHMEOR HILL and turn first left into CHANNEL VIEW.
Proceed along CHANNEL VIEW past a terrace of houses on your left and a row of gardens/garages to your right.
OCEAN VIEW TERRACE entrance is between the end of the row of garages and a bungalow on your right.
If you miss this entrance follow the road past the rear of our terrace and turn right into the entrance just past the rear of number 12 (marked Private Road  owned by Verbena no access residents only)
Parking space is immediately opposite or on the pavement outside number 8. Please do not park anywhere else in the road as each property owns their own section of road outside their property.
We hope you have a safe and pleasant journey to us and look forward to welcoming you.
